The main portion of the Bryan House was
built around 1850. Built with log construction, it has the charm
of colonials including low ceilings, a stone wall basement, tin roof,
etc. Additions to the house were done during the 1900's,
bringing it to it's current beauty. The Bryan House now has a
sun room for relaxing and visiting with the other guests or friends.

Nature lovers will love this property.
There is a small stream flowing through the property that is populated
with crawfish that kids love to catch. It is a natural place to
store live bait for the fisherman. The rushing sound of the
water flowing over the rocks is very relaxing. In the spring,
the bank at the rear of the property is alive with color, from wild
peonies and phlox along with red bud and dogwood trees. Black
raspberries, black walnuts, and butternuts also grow wild here.
The property is scattered with white pine, spruce, cedar, locust,
white birch, elm and maple trees. The giant tree near the creek
is tied for the 3rd largest Butternut tree in the state of
Pennsylvania.
The cottage was built in 1986 where the
old "summer house" used to sit. It's got a huge deck with the
stream that runs right beneath it. During the cooler months you
can enjoy heat from the wood/coal stove that sits in the living room,
or use electric heat if you'd rather. The cottage has hardwood
floors throughout and "barn board" type wanes coating made from the
old summer house! It comes complete with a modern kitchen and
it's own private bathroom with a skylight. The kitchen includes
dishes and flatware for your convenience.
